Oracle has announced Oracle Public Cloud, which mixs PaaS and SaaS capabilities, will allow customers to run Fusion Apps, extensions, and custom apps. Also, the Public Cloud has a database service for developers that will enable customers to deploy Java and Oracle Database apps on the Public Cloud without having to rewrite them.
Oracle Public Cloud Application Services include:
- Fusion Customer Relationship Management (CRM) , an integrated sales, marketing, and sales performance management tool;
- Fusion Human Capital Management (HCM) , a human resources management and collaboration tool for HR professionals, employees, and managers; and
- Oracle Social Network , an enterprise collaboration and social networking tool for capturing and sharing information among teams in the context of business processes and enterprise applications such as Fusion CRM and Fusion HCM.
- Oracle Java , an enterprise platform for developing, deploying, and managing Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE) applications based on Oracle WebLogic Server using Java integrated development environments (IDEs) such as Oracle JDeveloper , NetBeans , or Eclipse ; and
